Terms of service
The basics of how we work together. Every project also has its own written quote, which takes priority over this page. Last updated 17 October 2026.
Quotes and scope
Before any work starts, we send a written quote with the scope, price and launch date. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we do it.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in each quote. Unless the quote says otherwise, half is due before work starts and the rest before launch.
Your content and accounts
You’re responsible for the text, images and logos you give us, and for having the right to use them. Domains, hosting and platform accounts are set up in your name wherever possible.
Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, you own the finished website, its design and its content. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts and images remain under their own licences.
Revisions and approval
Each quote states how many rounds of design changes are included. Approving a design or a launch means you’ve checked it and are happy to proceed.
Support after launch
We fix any problems caused by our work for 30 days after launch at no charge. Changes after that are quoted or billed as agreed.
White-label projects
For agency work, our agreement is with the agency, not its client. We don’t contact the agency’s clients directly and don’t show the work publicly unless the agency agrees in writing.
Limits
We take care to build reliable websites, but we can’t be responsible for outages or changes made by hosting providers, platforms or third-party services.
